Lisa Anika Miner
Even after graduating from high school, Lisa developed a passion for "the hearts of Africa," especially for children and young women, through a short-term assignment in Ethiopia. For the past 10 years, her primary focus has been on her own family. She dedicated the rest of her time to her teacher training studies in sports and philosophy & psychology.

Area of operation in Kenya:

Lisa can perfectly apply her passion for mental and spiritual health and working with young women in her role as Mental Health Coordinator at the Naomi's Village children's home. Her experience and training help her educate the "mamas" (caregivers) and teachers at the affiliated school on topics such as dealing with trauma and emotional development. The need for pastoral care is not only great among the orphaned children; the staff members themselves often have traumatic experiences.
