Jambo, dear friends,
Some of you have already heard about our plan: We want to travel to Kenya as missionaries sometime next year.
Many people wonder: "Why are you doing this to yourselves and leaving the most beautiful region in the world (Salzburg) as a family?" Our aim is to support the churches in East Africa in helping the sick who otherwise receive little (or no) help. We are inspired by how Jesus went to the poor and sick!

Those who know us know that this idea has been with us for a very long time. David personally experienced in the Middle East the important role that mission hospitals play. Unfortunately, many such hospitals and clinics are limited in their effectiveness or even have to close due to financial and organizational reasons.
After visiting the mission hospital in Kijabe, Kenya, last summer, we had the impression that God wanted to work and be active there with us. David wants to work together with Banda Health We support mission hospitals with management consulting and software solutions, thereby increasing their effectiveness. Lisa has a deep concern for people with emotional distress. Together, we want to contribute to the healing of sick people (in body, mind, and soul) and help them encounter Jesus.
Our preparations are now in full swing. Following the application process, it's now confirmed that we will be at Hilfe die ankommt (BEG) be employed and in Kenya as part of the team of SIM Kenya will collaborate.
We have several church visits planned in the near future and hope to inspire others with this exciting ministry. However, we also have internal preparations ahead of us, as this change represents a significant step of trust for us, one that requires courage and strength!
